Most people can agree that music is relaxing and helps us to focus and feel certain ways. This part of my portfolio is art based on my top 6 songs on Spotify. The very first one is based off of Ribs by Lorde. The painting depicts Lighthouse House Field State Beach at sunrise, with memories of my freinds and I listening to this song as the subjects. My portfolio is centered around the idea the "zone" being portrayed through art and music is a big part of that. For this piece I used an 11x14 inch canvas and acrylic paints.
